polygons should be used at different scales, large for structure, medium/small for light/enclosure.
the curves can adapt to the different scales of polygons differently, the cv curves based off the polygonal information should occur in sequences, there is more control over the curves to accentuate types of spaces/light conditions if they occur in groups.
